About disease, Hexamita

Affected fishes first lose their appetite, then their colour becomes more intense and they begin to swim unevenly. In Discus fishes perticularly, and sometimes in other fishes, small holes appear in the head, with the parasites showing as whitish material extending from the holes.
The parasites can also be detected in fresh excreta.
As disease progresses, fishes become emaciated and the holes spread as the flesh is eaten away.
